Birth Mirror - 2 sided

This beautifully designed Birthing Mirror is designed to help during birth to view the progress of mother and baby in the second stage of labour by midwives and doctors. Using a mirror helps a midwife facilitate active birth positions on land and in water. Some women find using a mirror while pushing helpful, and research indicates it may contribute positively to the labour experience—an ideal tool to include in a midwives kit.

The mirror is two-sided with a silver mirror on one side and a gold mirror on the other side. The PBB birthing mirror is highly reflective, making it easier to view progress in low lighting. Made from acrylic for safety reasons, as glass mirrors break easily, are dangerous and costly to replace. The acrylic birth mirror’s handle makes it easy to hold. The smooth surface is easy to clean. Dimensions of the mirror: 25cm in length, 12cm in width of the main part of the mirror and 3mm thick.
